Ho seguito un pastore di Patmos durante la sua giornata lavorativa. Nel brullo paesaggio, dove vivono le sue duecento capre, ci siamo seduti all’ombra di un albero parlando del suo lavoro, della sua vita e dell profilo del paesaggio circostante. Ha condiviso il formaggio fatto da lui e mi ha chiesto dei pascoli alpini. L’ho seguito mentre scuoiava una capra e l’ha consegnata ad una taverna locale.
I followed a shepherd from Patmos during his daily working routine. On the bare land, where his two hundred goats live, we sit down under a tree shade talking about his job, his life and the shape of the surrounding landscape. He shared with me the cheese he made and he asked me about the alpine pastures. I went along with him while he was skinning a goat and delivering it to a local taverna.
